Wirelessor Brings North American Ops to Rob Roy LV

(Las Vegas) – Today, the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance announced that Wirelessor, has started operations in the Rob Roy InNEVation Center powered by Switch.

Wirelessor, a cutting edge wireless technology provider, offers state of the art charging, data transfer, and application control devices for Apple, Windows, and Amazon products. Extremely popular in Asia, Wirelessor devices will soon be available on Amazon.com and at leading North American retailers.

“Las Vegas was the right choice for Wirelessor,” said Gary Lee, president and CEO of Wirelessor Enterprises. “I met Tom Skancke in Shenzhen last year and was interested in what Las Vegas had to offer.  Las Vegas is a very famous city around the world. Here, we are at the center of the convention industry. I myself am in Las Vegas for the International CES Trade Show, so there are definitely opportunities for us to exhibit our products here. In addition, my customers and logistic providers are on the west coast, so a North American Headquarters in Las Vegas makes a lot of sense.  I was considering opening my North American operation in Long Beach, but after comparing the region’s political, tax, and economic climates, I decided that Las Vegas was the better option. We have already moved some of our senior leadership to Las Vegas and expect to activate our Foreign Trade Zone and build a manufacturing and distribution plant in Las Vegas in the next 18 to 24 months.”

“This is a big deal for Nevada,” said Tom Skancke, president and CEO of the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance. “Wherever you go in China, you see Wirelessor devices powering smart phones and helping to make the economy work. After outreach from the LVGEA and the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, Wirelessor saw the value of a North American headquarters and decided to locate in Nevada because of our connectivity to their customers and our visibility as a global convention destination. It’s been a pleasure to work with Gary over the last few months to make Wirelessor’s business aspirations a reality.”

Currently, Wirelessor employs four people in Nevada, but they are hiring new North American leadership after the Lunar New Year. When fully built out, Wirelessor expects to employ hundreds of people in Southern Nevada. To learn more about Wirelessor, visit their website at www.wirelessor.com.
