As the Local Workforce Development Board, Workforce Connections convenes the public workforce development system in Southern Nevada.
During this COVID-19 crisis, we are developing short and long term business-driven solutions to help keep Southern Nevadans employed, as well as creating recovery strategies to help employers successfully reopen and rehire.
As part of our commitment to assist local businesses, we have embedded workforce development professionals at the LVGEA, and the Vegas Chamber, the region’s largest chamber of commerce. These two subject matter experts serve as the conduit between business needs and system solutions.
In the coming months, we will open two new business-focused One-Stop Centers that will help employers with everything from accessing loans and financial assistance, to recruiting talent, and getting help with licenses and permits. These business hubs will be the first of their kind in Southern Nevada and will create a one-stop-shop for business needs.
Workforce Connections serves the counties of Clark, Nye, Lincoln, and Esmeralda. We are governed by a
board of local business, education and community leaders, as well as a consortium of
local elected officials. For more information on Workforce Connections and to find COVID-19 related resources, please visit
