Workforce and Unemployment

Since 2011, the workforce in Southern Nevada has been steadily increasing, while the total number of unemployed individuals has decreased along with a sharp decline in the unemployment rate. Up until 2020, the region saw a steady and successful campaign of job creation. The COVID-19 pandemic, however, caused a sharp increase in unemployment.
