LVGEA Expands Board of Directors to 46

LAS VEGAS  — The Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA) recently welcomed six new members to its board of directors, bringing its membership total to 46.

The newest additions to the board include:

  • Michael Cunningham, Executive Vice President and Regional President of Bank of Nevada
  • James Holt, President of National Securities Technologies
  • Kenneth Ladd, Special Assistant to the President for Innovation Based Economic Development at Desert Research Institute
  • John Martino, Director of U.S. Workforce Management and interim Henderson Site Director at Barclaycard
  • Tim Oudman, Market Vice President of Republic Services
  • Shannon Petersen, Executive Vice President of Nevada State Bank

“The LVGEA is thrilled to continue expanding our board of directors by including more talented members of the community,” said Jonas Peterson, president and CEO of the LVGEA. “We are one step closer to bringing together 50 of the region’s most influential private sector, public and education leaders on the LVGEA board.”

The addition of these new members is part of the LVGEA’s “Drive to 50” campaign, an initiative that aims to assemble a diverse, knowledgeable and talented group of leaders who can contribute to industry diversification and community development projects that will benefit Southern Nevada. Several new members expressed the importance of serving on the board:
