Programs & Resources

The LVGEA offers a variety of programs and services to assist companies in getting the information they need and connecting them with local resources as they expand or relocate their business to the region.

What is BizCONNECT?

One of the cornerstones of our local business retention and expansion efforts is the region’s One-on-One Business Visitation Program, where we meet with all types of companies in Southern Nevada. This program is designed to help reduce local business challenges and catalyze new opportunities.

Through private, confidential meetings, the LVGEA and its partners are out in the community listening to the needs of businesses, solving problems, cutting red tape, and helping businesses grow their networks.

Small Business Development Center

UNLV’s Small Business Development Center seeks to provide small business development assistance to the local business community and to serve the entrepreneurial needs of the campus community. The center provides guidance to entrepreneurs who are contemplating the formation of new businesses by offering practical and accessible information that can provide a path through the legal, regulatory, and business landscape. Additionally, UNLV’s Small Business Development Center seeks to connect entrepreneurs with members of a variety of local groups, including Chambers of Commerce, the tech community, and under-represented communities within the urban core. The center has offices within the Urban Chamber of Commerce, Henderson Chamber of Commerce, and the Asian Chamber of Commerce.
