The idea for Boxabl didn’t start as an idea, it started as a problem: affordable housing. Paolo and Galiano Tiramani founded Boxabl in 2017, with the goal of making housing accessible to everyone. The company manufactures prefabricated homes (also known as Accessory Dwelling Units) on a factory assembly line, and then boxes up the homes to be shipped to clients across the U.S. The company opened its first factory in North Las Vegas in 2021, a second and third factory nearby in 2023, and is looking at a possible fourth facility in the region.

The company moved into their current 142,000 square foot location in 2019, which houses its corporate offices, a state-of-the-art design facility, and a modern machine and tool shop.
