Today, we live in a more connected world than ever before. This evolution has taken place at a rate much faster than we ever could’ve imagined. The concept of a ‘smartphone’ was something out of a science fiction novel just over ten years ago. Today, it is central to the modern workforce’s way of life. So naturally, with this evolution, we have witnessed fairly dramatic shifts in priorities as they relate to members of the workforce. These individuals make up the Workforce of Tomorrow. This initiative has aimed to leverage new media and the power of our connected world in order to begin identifying the priorities that the Workforce of Tomorrow weighs when making decisions regarding their careers, their living environments, and preferences for public transportation and investment. We set out to better understand a crucial segment of the population so that we can plan for and invest in a future for Southern Nevada that the workforce wants.
