John Bailey is an attorney specializing in corporate litigation, healthcare law, gaming law, and dispute resolution (serving as a mediator and arbitrator). He is the founding member and managing partner of Bailey Kennedy, LLP, having earned his law degree from McGeorge School of Law.

Mr. Bailey was recommended for a Judgeship on the U.S. Court of Appeals by both Nevada Senators. He is Chairman of the Character and Fitness Committee of the Nevada State Bar, and he is a Director of the Public Education Foundation, Council for a Better Nevada, and Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance.

Mr. Bailey is also a Member of the Institutional Advisory Council of the College for Southern Nevada and the past Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy. He is a Director of Boyd Gaming Corporation (NYSE: BYD); a former Director of SHFL entertainment, Inc.; and a past Member and Chairman of the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
