Marc Badain

Marc Badain is currently the President of MLB’s Athletics, leading the development of their new Ballpark in Las Vegas and managing the entirety of the business operations including the relocation to Southern Nevada. Prior to that, Marc was the President of Oak View Group Las Vegas – Arena and Entertainment, leading a multi billion-dollar integrated resort and arena project in Las Vegas.

A highly respected sports executive, Badain spent three decades with the NFL’s Raiders including seven as team President. Badain oversaw the entirety of the club’s business operations including the relocation from Oakland to Las Vegas and the successful completion of Allegiant Stadium. Badain started with the Raiders as a training camp intern in 1991 before joining the football staff full time as an administrative assistant to the coaching staff the following year. He joined the organization’s finance department in 1995, and was named chief financial officer in 2004. Badain served as team president in an interim capacity from 2013-14.

A native of Rochester, N.Y., Badain earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Emory University and received his MBA from University of California’s Walter A. Haas School of Business in 2001.

Badain and his wife, Amy, have three children, Ali, Bernie and Zach.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Biletnikoff Foundation, University of Nevada Sports Management Executive Board, Las Vegas Bowl Committee, Grant a Gift Autism Foundation, Gridiron Greats and Opportunity Village.
