Brandon Montiel Sanchez is a community-driven advancement professional with a passion for building authentic relationships and creating programs that connect people to something larger than themselves. He currently serves as Investor Relations Coordinator at the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance, where he works to strengthen Southern Nevada’s economic future through meaningful stakeholder engagement and strategic partnership development.
Previously, Brandon served as Associate Director of Alumni Relations and Community Engagement at Roseman University of Health Sciences, where he built the university’s alumni engagement program from the ground up. With no formal infrastructure in place when he arrived, he established outreach systems, launched the Roseman Alumni Network website, and created the first consistent touchpoints many alumni had experienced with the institution since graduation. He led the annual scholarship golf tournament, raising $227,852 in direct support of student scholarships, and planned and executed the inaugural Roseman College of Dental Medicine Alumni Reunion. His philosophy throughout was straightforward: reach people like a person, not an institution.
Before joining Roseman, Brandon served in multiple capacities at United Way of King County in Seattle, most recently as a National Service Recruitment and Administrative Coordinator, where he recruited and onboarded 300 to 500 AmeriCorps members annually, led the organization’s BIPOC affinity group, and supported grant compliance and professional development programming across the member cohort.
A Las Vegas native, Brandon is bilingual in English and Spanish and is completing his Bachelor of Arts in Management through Southern New Hampshire University. He grew up watching Las Vegas transform in real time. His father, a cement foreman, helped build many of the structures that define the city’s skyline, and would drive a young Brandon around, pointing out the projects he had a hand in. That early lesson about the pride of building something meaningful never left him. He is proud to be back home, now contributing to the city’s growth in his own way.
