LVGEA Welcomes Four New Board Members

New members showcase the organization's partnership with public and private sector leaders

LAS VEGAS– Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA) welcomes four new members to serve on the LVGEA50 Board of Directors, a diverse group of public and private sector leaders and the largest business board of its kind in Nevada.

“A big part of LVGEA’s mission is to grow the region’s economy through connectivity and partnership,” said Tina Quigley, president and CEO of LVGEA. “With the addition of these four new board members, we are strengthening our partnerships with our region’s chambers of commerce, and the local real estate and business community, and we will rely on their expertise to help drive the economic development strategy for the Greater Vegas region.”

Jason Adams is the president of BEX Sunglasses Company, an ultra-lightweight eyewear company based in Logandale, NV. Adams was born and raised in Las Vegas and had a successful professional rodeo career before founding BEX Sunglasses in 2009. Adams attended BYU-Idaho where he studied entrepreneurship and innovation, creating a foundation for his passion for manufacturing.

“Born and raised in Las Vegas, I love this city! BEX Sunglasses and I are excited to be involved in the explosive growth of this magnificent place,” said Adams. “I’m looking forward to working with such a terrific and talented group, contributing where I can toward making our city the most unique and diverse business hub in the west.”

Molly Hamrick is the president and COO of Coldwell Banker Premier Realty. Hamrick is a native Las Vegan and has been licensed since 1990. Since acquiring Coldwell Banker with her husband in 1998, she has grown the company to more than 300 sales associates and over $1B in annual sales volume. Hamrick is also a founding trustee and chairperson for the Board of Directors at Southern Hills Hospital.

“As a lifelong resident who has benefited greatly from the generosity of our community, I am excited to join the LVGEA50 Board and give back to the region that has given so much to my family,” said Hamrick. “Working alongside the capable LVGEA50 Board and under the leadership of Tina Quigley, I look forward to contributing to LVGEA’s mission of driving economic growth and diversity in Southern Nevada. At Coldwell Banker Premier Realty, we strongly believe in the importance of a thriving economy and job creation, and I am committed to supporting initiatives that foster innovation and attract new businesses to our region.”

Scott Muelrath has served as president and CEO of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce since 2011. Under his leadership, the chamber has expanded its valley-wide membership base by nearly 200%. Muelrath received the Urban Entrepreneurial Spirit Award of the Year by the Nevada District office of the U.S. Small Business Administration in 2022 and was also named Non-Profit Executive of the Year at the 29th Silver State Awards.

“The Henderson Chamber of Commerce is honored to join the LVGEA50 Board, as successful economic development strategies encompass all of Southern Nevada,” said Muelrath. “As a regional chamber of commerce, our valley-wide membership will be fully represented, and in turn may be leveraged for the benefit of our local economy. We are excited for the partnership.”

Mary Beth Sewald is the president and CEO of the Vegas Chamber, Nevada’s largest business association. Sewald sets the vision for the organization and leads its strategy of supporting local businesses and pursuing initiatives to create job growth, a healthy economy, and a vibrant community. Sewald has been honored with the Silver State Award for Excellence in Service and named one of Nevada Business Magazine’s 2019 Women to Watch.

“I am honored to join other business and community leaders on the LVGEA50 Board to help guide economic development in Southern Nevada,” said Sewald. “Serving on this board ensures that the Vegas Chamber and LVGEA are united in efforts to identify, recruit, and engage new businesses and industries to come to our region. Our collaboration helps maximize job creation, enhance economic growth, and cultivate prosperity.”
