Nick Clason is the Senior Director of Business Intelligence for LVGEA, with a focus on research and data. Nick brings 8 years of economic development, public policy, and research experience to the LVGEA Team.

Directly prior to rejoining LVGEA in January 2026, Nick spent 3 years working with the City of Henderson Economic Development and Tourism team as an Economic Development Officer, with a focus on research and data. Nick’s work experience also includes working for Applied Analysis, a leading Las Vegas-based research and consulting firm; prior work at LVGEA as an Economic Development Analyst; and as a policy aide to the former Chairman of the U.S. Senate Finance Committee, with a focus on tax, trade, and banking policy.

A native of Las Vegas, Nick is a Certified Economic Developer, a graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute (OUEDI), and holds Bachelors of Science Degrees in Economic and Political Science from Utah State University.
