LAS VEGAS — The Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA) is strengthening its collaboration with Southern Nevada’s commercial real estate community through LVGEA Broker Partnerships, an initiative that formalizes relationships between LVGEA and participating commercial real estate brokerage offices across the region.
Through Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), LVGEA and participating brokers have outlined a coordinated approach to supporting prospective companies considering Southern Nevada for relocation, expansion or investment. The partnerships are designed to leverage the brokerage’s client relationships and commercial real estate expertise with LVGEA’s economic development resources.
Under the partnership framework, LVGEA provides auxiliary site selection support to help brokers and their clients evaluate opportunities in Southern Nevada. This support frequently includes research and data, public relations, and assistance identifying and negotiating local and state incentives. With the mutual consent of the broker, client, and LVGEA, LVGEA may also serve as a liaison to municipalities, utility providers, public agencies, business leaders and other regional stakeholders whose involvement could support a successful transaction.
“These partnerships strengthen the connection between commercial real estate expertise and economic development resources in support of companies considering Southern Nevada,” said Danielle Casey, President & CEO of Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance. “By working directly with brokers on active client opportunities, we can provide additional research, data, incentive support and regional connections that add value throughout the site selection and business attraction process. We’re excited about the opportunity to bridge the expertise and relationships of these professional communities with one common goal, a stronger southern Nevada economy.”
The partnerships also establish a framework for LVGEA and participating brokers to strengthen connections across their respective networks. Brokers may assist LVGEA with introductions to affiliated offices in other markets to increase visibility for Southern Nevada and expand opportunities for regional economic growth, while LVGEA can assist brokers with introductions to regional stakeholders.
“Southern Nevada continues to attract companies looking for opportunity and having a coordinated approach to supporting that growth is important. LVGEA Broker Partnerships create a stronger connection between the real estate community and the broader economic development efforts happening across the region, helping us all play a role in its continued success,” said Molly Hamrick, President & CEO of Coldwell Banker Commercial Premier and a member of the LVGEA Board of Directors Executive Committee.
LVGEA and its brokerage partners will also maximize opportunities to participate in one another’s relevant events and programs and collaborate on cross-promotional events and marketing campaigns that increase the visibility and economic profile of Southern Nevada.
“Having a strong partnership between the commercial real estate community and LVGEA benefits everyone involved in bringing new businesses to Southern Nevada,” said John Sharpe, President of Lee & Associates Las Vegas.
As part of the initiative, LVGEA has developed a comprehensive Broker Toolkit to help commercial real estate partners navigate and maximize the economic development resources available to them.
“Southern Nevada is at its best when our business community works together with a shared vision for the region’s growth. Danielle Casey and the LVGEA team have done an exceptional job bringing people to the table, identifying our competitive strengths, and creating greater collaboration around how we attract businesses, investment, and jobs to Southern Nevada. Avison Young is proud to be an early Broker Partner, and we’re excited to work alongside LVGEA to help tell Southern Nevada’s story and compete for the opportunities ahead,” said Suzette LaGrange, Principal, Las Vegas Market Leader & Managing Director of Avison Young.
To date, LVGEA has executed MOUs with eight local brokerage offices: Avison Young–Nevada, CBRE Las Vegas, Coldwell Banker Premier Realty and Coldwell Banker Commercial Premier, Lee & Associates Las Vegas, LOGIC Commercial Real Estate, ROI Commercial Real Estate, JLL and Cushman & Wakefield, and encourage others to join its growing roster.
“By bringing CBRE’s global real estate perspective and deep local market expertise together with LVGEA’s economic development resources, we can give companies a more complete view of Southern Nevada and help them make informed decisions with confidence. Our region has a compelling story to tell, and together we can help more companies recognize the opportunity available to invest, grow and succeed in Southern Nevada,” said Cassie Catania-Hsu, Senior Managing Director at CBRE.
“JLL is proud to formalize our partnership with the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance as an official Broker Partner. LVGEA’s commitment to attracting high‑quality companies and advancing economic diversification across Southern Nevada aligns seamlessly with our mission to deliver comprehensive real estate solutions that support long‑term regional growth. By combining LVGEA’s economic development leadership with JLL’s market intelligence and global platform, we look forward to helping businesses expand into the Las Vegas market and contributing to the continued evolution of Southern Nevada as a premier destination for investment, innovation, and opportunity,” said Bret Davis, Managing Director at JLL Las Vegas.
As one of Nevada’s eight Regional Development Authorities designated by the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development, LVGEA serves as a central point of contact for economic development opportunities in Southern Nevada and works with public- and private-sector partners to support business attraction, expansion and investment.
“Every company entering or expanding within Southern Nevada has different priorities and challenges. We’re excited to partner with LVGEA to help foster growth in the region and to better serve our clients; providing them with the right local resources and real estate expertise to turn opportunities into successful outcomes,” said Venessa McEvoy, Nevada Market Leader for Cushman & Wakefield.
